In Tigard-Tualatin School District, World Language instruction incorporates five C’s: Communication, Culture, Connections, Comparisons and Community. Teachers promote critical thinking and provide ample opportunities for interpersonal communication in context. We maximize listening, reading and viewing in the target language so that students can demonstrate understanding through speaking, writing and action.
