Progress Markers

The Oregon Department of Education will support each recipient in monitoring progress using the progress markers included in the grant agreement and used from a learning and continuous improvement orientation.
Budget
The District’s initial allocation of Student Investment Account dollars for 2020-21 was $10,115,848.68. With reductions in the Corporate Activity Tax revenue received by the State, the final allocation was reduced by almost 70% to $3,171,528.66. Early on, the District expected reduced funding and developed prioritized tiers of investments in 25% increments.
Cabinet has prioritized these dollars among categories 1 and 2 with investments consistent with those recommended in the spring to the SIA Community Workgroup. Some common themes among the prioritized investments include:
- Equity and family engagement
- Class-size reduction
- Mental health
- Social emotional learning
- Student health and safety
- Collaboration time
